Welcome to the Alpine Group
The Alpine Group brings together specialist fire protection companies delivering engineered detection and suppression solutions for complex, mission-critical environments.
Our group is built up of forward-thinking, innovative businesses. We introduced the concept of sustainable fire suppression to our clients, reducing unnecessary water loss whilst campaigning for change along with supporting the elimination of forever chemicals in our industry. We are passionate about protecting the planet.

What we do
Protecting People
We take our responsibility very seriously to protect our clients' people. We understand the significant obligation that employers have with their duty of care to their teams, and we know that it's something that has to be addressed.
Over the years, we have taken a leading role in the fire suppression industry, lobbying the industry for change and responding to multiple consultations. Our customers often look to us for changes in regulations and industry news, and this also aligns with our long-term view of training, development and succession planning for our own team.
Our commitment to the industry extends to the establishment of the Alpine Academy, where we are training the next generation of engineers in sustainable fire suppression and ensuring that our teams are representative of the society around us.
We're proud of the momentum building across our Academy programmes. Our inaugural LEAD Programme is now underway, with 41 people developing their leadership skills across 5 cohorts. This September, we'll welcome 6 new EDGE Trainees into the business, marking another step in growing our future talent pipeline. And looking ahead, we're excited to be launching our new STEP programme in early 2027.

Protecting property is where it all started for us. We are a group of engineering professionals, organised into local specialist businesses, working throughout the UK and Ireland.
Alpine Fire was formed in 1992, and while the business has grown rapidly, the core values of integrity, technical capability and customer focus have not changed and are still discernible to this day.

DAS Fire, founded in 2006 is the leading provider of fire detection and suppression solutions for data centres. Their systems are specifically, designed to protect sensitive IT infrastructure while minimising damage and disruption.

Channel Fire brings more than 40 years of combined industry experience, delivering specialist fire protection solutions for high-risk, complex and demanding environments across the UK.

We are passionate about designing sustainable fire suppression. It’s an ambitious idea that was born out of our Alpine Fire campaign of 2023, when we started thinking about the impact that the vital maintenance of fire suppression systems has on the world around us.
